We met in a Voices of Color writing workshop at UCLA Extension during the pandemic and gained a new found respect for different views. The class also inspired us to write our personal stories and share them with the world. We connected over our mutual love for writing and our wish to share our voices.

Each of us has lived through diverse experiences, and offers a unique vantage point. Our values for empowerment, representation, equity, and the inclusion of diverse voices in the literary world led us to this next journey, Kaleidoscope: a collection of writings from our community.

We are offering our works of fiction, nonfiction, creative nonfiction, poetry, and everything in between. We hope you’ll stay and read our words.
